the port shut down the sewer system again. this means no shitters. only the contracters porta-potty, or a 5 min trip to jersey gardens mall.
dinner and breakfast were ready to be born, so i took the trip to the mall.

so i headed into the mens room and went straight into the handicap stall.
clean the seat, sit down, and start baking a loaf when somebody starts tugging on the door, but its locked. i peer under the seat, and there is a wheelchair there.

ugh. so here i am forcing everything because this poor man in a wheelchair has gotta poop and i cant.

i finally finish up, and hurry out of the stall as fast as i can. i am barely out of the way when this older man flies into the stall to do his thing.

i am never using the big stall again. you have no clue how bad i feel.

That's the first time I heard of that a handicapped person actually used the handicapped stall.

Having worked in retail we knew it was a law that you couldn't let anyone who wasn't handicapped into that dressing room because if one did show up and needed the room, they could sue for it being occupies by someone who wasn't.

That being said all the rich white privilege bitches who were 8 months pregnant with 3 screaming kids would always make a big stink about not being allowed to use the room because they couldn't fit the huge carts into other regular rooms.

One day same situation and a handicapped person needs the room, so we have to kick the woman out of it. It was busy and there were people watching as she hurriedly packed her crap up to get tossed out of the room.

In short, don't use handicapped anything. Plus the handicapped stalls are always the ones with baby changers and because of such are gross.

Damn.. I guess you're working in a different area of the port than I am, our shitters are fine thank God. I could leave your name at security so you can head here and shit comfortably.

You could walk over we're on Calcutta Street right off Export Street. not far from the Seamen's Church.

edit - you and I know both know you would walk it unless you wanted to get crushed by a truck.

My great Aunt used to harass non-handicapped people in handicapped stalls. She would beat on the door with her cane and humiliate them... it was awesome. It also taught me to not use those stalls just in case I ran into an angry handicapped like her, and if there's nothing else free to just be very very quick about my business. I think your mistake was doing #2's in there because it just takes a lot of time.

And...if the situation ever comes up again you have my permission to walk out of the stall like you're blind, or just gimp it up a little so the person thinks you were handicapped too.
