I burned my boob on Saturday

This TRULY is one of the DUMBEST things I've done in a LONG LONG time. It's almost Darwinian.

So, I decided to heat up a leftover panini sandwich in my oven. I set it at around 325, put the sandwich on some tinfoil, and then onto a cookie sheet. I figured I had time for a quick shower.

I was out in under 10 minutes. Then I smelled something burning. I panicked and ran into the kitchen nekkid (SUCH a pretty picture!), grabbed a pot holder and took out the tray. I grabbed the tray too fast and the foil with the sandwich started to slip off so turned the tray up and back and..... SIZZLE!!!

It didn't hurt that much. There was no blister but it looks pretty icky now. I've been putting Neosporin on it and covering it with a big band aid. Oh yeah, there's gonna be a scar. I can tell already.

And it wasn't the sandwich that was burning. There was a lost french fry on the bottom of the oven that was burning. Fucking French!!

Too bad-- it was the better one, too. :laugh:

Burn scars suck. I've burned myself enough times to know that the only thing that makes the pain go away is aloe, and that if you really want to make a scar go away Mederma (sp?) helps but you have to use it several times a day for several weeks. I always forget to use it regularly.
