I Have One Week Off

from both school and work.

My first summer session ended an hour ago and whilst i am waiting for my boyfriend to finish his final i am thinking of all the laziness that will ensue upon our arrival home.

We were originally planning to take a brief vacation somewhere but that plan got scraped when we decided to adopt a kitten on Thursday(we wanted to adopt him when we knew we would have plenty of time to spend home with him). So, I haven't had more than a weekend off in several+ months between a shitty 9-5er and back to back semesters and I go back to my second summer session next Monday.

Though i received an A in the class that just ended, someone brought in chocolate covered strawberries, i have a week off and a brand new baby kitten to adore.

Tracey was abandoned just weeks old, and my girlfriend and I brought her siblings to North Shore, but decided to raise her ourselves. Nothing cooler than you being a kittens first sight!

Anywho... enjoy the laziness, and being a mom.

He'll be 8 weeks, still shy as we adopted him maybe an hour after the agency took the litter from the mother but the last day or two he has been coming out of his shell and becoming very comfortable with us.

My boyfriend wanted him too, though now he calls him a diva and drama queen because he always cries for me. We named him Braddock after the boxer and it's pretty much the best thing in the world.
