While visiting Ron & Fez in studio today, they brought up great summer movies. My favorite summer movie has to be "Stand By Me," simply for the fact that it has everything that you may need: a change of innocence into something more, a realization of one's self, a trip, tested friendships, great soundtracks, and, more important than anything else, IN THE SUMMER. Close second is "Dazed and Confused" and "American Graffiti."

So, what is your favorite summer movie?

Its a tie between Wet Hot American Summer, and Dazed and Confused. There aren't too many things I'd rather do than light up a bowl and watch those flicks back to back.

Sleepers is kind of a summer movie. Also an ass raping movie. Best of both worlds IMO.

I will also watch the hell out of Summer Rental.
