I never said anything about the cubs. you point to the dawson/carter era as their high water mark, and even then they didn't manage to win a championship. at least the cubs have won two world championships in their history (one of which against the Philadelphia A's.)

my point was that they wouldnt be worst team, nor would Pittsburgh (as was the topic).

you need to prorate the cubs championships over their history, and the Expos over their history - otherwise we'd be saying that the Rays were the worst.

if you simply want to measure that, Expos/Nationals aren't only franchises with 0 WS wins.

Houston, Rays, Brewers/Pilots, Mariners, etc.
