I still find myself cranking up a song that I think is pretty hip out the car window.

I think the confession part is that it's childish to roll your windows down and crank up a song to impress people - but I catch myself doing it. Like Jimmy Norton's childhood story of walking by a certain girl with his radio blasting Sabbath so she'd like him.

I have a neighbor whose teen son is into some kind of noise called playing music loud out the car.. I hear him blasting it from his car, and the so called music playing cracks me up. Is it a gay thing? I never see him hanging with any chicks? Can comeone please tell me what's the story with this awful noise?

I play my music loud on the way to and from work, but never really intentionally, I do intentionally turn it down near the 2 churches I pass, because the first time i DIDN'T I realized there was a funeral going on.

My fucking neighbors pull into their parking spot and sit there for 10 minutes or more with crappy rap music blasting. So annoying!! The bass is so loud it rattles my windows. I hate assholes that do that. I'll play music loud when I'm driving out on the highway but when I pull into a residential area I turn it the fuck down. So rude to assume everyone wants to hear the crap you're playing.

It's been awhile - but I'd like to consider old "that's the way uh huh uh huh" in his yellow ram a ghey and out-of-touch brother in this whole impress people with your music thing.

I'd ride by with AIC "Rain When I Die" pumping out trying to seem cool.:smoke:
(which btw - I've found the intro for this song is almost identical to "We Die Young" off of their previous album Facelift - way to be lazy Mr. Cantrell... but I prefer it and it's badass - so I guess there's been improvement)

My favorite part is - when I'm doing this, I'll check the rearview mirror and see the baby mirror off to the corner - that's when I really know it's time to retire this thing. It also makes me feel instantly creepy if I check out college girls while driving and then catch it out the corner of my eye.
