I'm a child of, lets say one decade, but I love the music of the decade that followed it.
Vanity prevents me from using numbers.

B. I agree that the songs you listed are good, and probably their best work.
But there's a reason you stopped at 4, isnt there?
I challenge you to present a 5th that's as good.

C. 4 good songs however, does make a band worthy of being enjoyed.

D. I recognized 3 out of the 4 songs you posted.

A. I think it does. hearing that shit when I was like 2-5 obviously had some kind of permanent effect on me. There's no logical reason for me to like them otherwise. I'm a fan of 80's music in general. I only wish my mom gave my pacifier a light coating of coke.

Chris let me remind you how much you liked the first four examples given for Tears for Fears ("...good, and probably their best work). Just because they are more recognizable songs doesn't make them less gay than what I presented (even though the song I put on the board was just straight pop). I think what you are ulitmately saying is Tears for Fears makes gay music, and you like some of it.

I have really good memories attached to 1,2 and 4 but was never really a fan. I love these songs though - they tend to remind me of playing dungeons and dragons with my neighbors and brother, though I'd heard them plenty of times in other contexts.
