This is a hoot, John Wayne as Genghis Khan in The Conqueror. I think the original Golden Turkey Awards book voted this one of the ten worst movies of all time.

The outdoor scenes were filmed down wind from a "hot" atomic test site, resulting in the cancer related deaths of many of the cast & crew. Being an empty headed, jingoistic moron, John Wayne trusted the U.S. Government's false reports that the area was safe from radiation & convinced nervous director Dick Powell to go ahead & shoot there. They all died... nice move, Duke!!!
