Not necessarily. I wait for the really popular games to become "Platinum Hits" which sell for $20. Or I buy from the bargin bin at gamestop. I get a lot of older games that way that I did want, but not want bad enough to warrant paying a lot of money for. They are all used games, but they are guaranteed. I also like quirky japanese games from companies like Natsume (harvest moon, Metropolis Mania, etc) that are cheaper than other games.

Seriously, I guess making your choice just depends on what you're looking for in a board. I like this board for intellectual discussions on R&F, music, movies, etc. I go to ftb for sarcasm and no holds barred honesty (don't let the haters cliche scare you off). RGF is for silliness and it has become the neutral site for all of the silly fights between people on the various boards. The new FBA is primarily the rah-rah board, which is fine if that's what you're looking for.

To continue the randomness...today I figured out how to make a set of stairs from scratch! I am building a landing down to our dock and needed to build stairs to get from the top of the bank to the landing and then from the landing to the dock. I am so stoked. I got them all cut and tomorrow I am going to put them all together.
