it takes awhile for them to get over their fears, but it's well worth it, if you have the time. as far as the new baby thing, i'd buy that, new moms are easily skeered, it's a pretty common fear.

I'm really not a fan of the South it sucks down here. There is nothing to do really down here espcially when you lived in the NY burbs for most of your life.

We have a friend that lives in Louisiana, and he would tell us about the gators, and that as long as your house is elevated a bit off the ground you are okay because gators can't climb porch stairs. I've had gator, up here. It was good, but it is a tough meat so it has to be cooked correctly. A cajun restaurant we go to has it once in a while.
