wow, my neighbor just knocked on my door... I saw him this morning when I was leaving for work. I said hello but he started running.
His wife had just taken off in the car and I figured she forgot something and he ran after her... turns out it was not his wife at all... he had the car running to warm it and someone came by and stole it.
just drove off...
I thought it was his wife just very bundled up... def a black person so I did not think anything of it.
They found the car on the other side of town... cause they don't have a key they now impounded it and they have to pay for it and now need to get a new ignition cause the thief kept the key...

I will definitely not warm my car in the morning... wow....

I had an awesome day and started to build a fence for my best friend. Their daughter is the best, she's two and melts my heart every time I see her. cuz of my dog's aggression issue towards other dogs, when i have my dog off leash at their place one of them usually holds on to beaker, but its cool cuz both dogs don't really want to interact with eachother so theres no struggle to keep them away from eachother. hopefully one day we can have them both offleash interacting with eachother, but until then..its not much of an inconvience to keep them away

I injured my left knee learning to jump out of airplanes and now it is arthritic. I broke my left foot and ankle when I fell off our 2 story barracks in Germany. The bone in my foot misaligned (healed funny) and will occasionally rub a nerve next to it which irritates the nerve and my foot feels like I am being shocked and on fire. That ankle is also arthritic but does not bother me often. Lifting a 300 pound woman into the back of my ambulance when my driver weighed all of 90 something pounds I tore the part of a muscle away from my right shoulder blade and this will haunt me on occasion. I was once left handed but broke my left wrist playing football which an Army surgeon tried to repair but made it worse. This herts often and I have very little wrist movement and nearly no strength. I have different splints for different activities like driving, etc. Because of the wrist I ended up messing up my right shoulder from overuse and this haunts me here and there. Because I have been taking medication for pain, etc since I was 22 my stomach lining is screwed up. A ton of fun eh?

I thought they were done.

I do have PTSD from some of my military experiences, but I also suffer anxiety and depression from a mix of my physical state and a couple other factors. I have been stable for several months now which gives me hope.

Besides Germany I was stationed in Colorado twice, twice in Georgia, been to Korea for 3 days, Belgium, Bosnia, did school in San Antonio, basic in Missouri, and have traveled around the US. There are many places I still want to go.

kat, you may have to refile those child support papers to change the order and get full support. im not sure what the rules are out there, but that guy's lived off you long enough. and while your there, see if you can mention the tax fraud there too. im not sure if you have to report child support, but there is def a paper trail showing that lukas lives with you.

They did pay me the credit in my return and since he had e-filed a few days before me he got the return before me.

It's pretty sad, but I am now already used to this kind of actions and no longer freak out over it. It makes me angry, nevertheless, but I know how to handle it by now ... so I guess I stay kinda calmer over it.

the thing is child support is not tax deductible. Alimony is.
So he probably is trying to get something out of it.
What he still has not realized is that paying child support is for his child, and not me.

just make sure you follow up on that child support thing. even if its $5, screw him over. my niece's dad (r.i.p.) used to play these games with my sister. she refiled and got full support. it wasnt much, but she made her point

because we also split daycare outside of the child support agreement I agreed to have him pay almost 50% less than he should based on calculations.
I am stupid like that, when they gave him the numbers I immediately thought about how it would affect my bills if I had to pay that monthly... and for some reason NOBODY ever wonders how I pay for all or how I make it...
anyway, I agreed to much less... and said we would revisit the agreement when Lukas goes to school cause the daycare cost would go away.


Anyway, at the same time of him complaining he will NOT file for support from his ex. The boy lives and has lived with him for the past 8 years (3 of which with me) and she never pays a penny for him.
He said that they agreed to not do it when they got divorced and he sticks to that.
I told him he is an ass because he takes it away from his support for Lukas.
He woudl not struggle if she would support her own kid.
And if he really says he does not need it he could put it away for his son's college one day.
That bitch is not saving a penny for her son.

the daycare he is at he has been at since he first went to daycare in the infant room. They know him and love him and they have groups up to Kindergarten there which eliminates the need for a bus ride to the YMCA after care.
SO he is in one place until he starts 1st grade.

So I am not taking him out of there.
My problem is that his dad probably wants him in catholic school and I am absolutely against it because I saw their curriculum for 3 years and it was horrible. His older brother had such trouble reading writing and math and most of his studies involved religion.

My morning went sour when my e-file was rejected again.
UGH Turns out Lukas' dad filed already as well and once again claimed Lukas on his return.
What a fucking asshole. It clearly states on there that the child needs to live with you and he does not. AND he also has his older son to claim, so what the fuck is up with the greed in that man :furious:

He did the same last year and I have to say he knows pretty well that he had to file quick to beat me to it, he never files his other taxes that early cause he owes. Federal is the one where he gets back.

Sadly while he was still filing both our taxes he failed to file my local ones and now I owe fees and penalties cause they were never filed.
I told him about it and it seems because he has not filed in 12 years in PA (since he lives there) they are not onto him.
Meanwhile I have to go through the trouble of proofing what was paid and all and them attaching my wages for the crap just because I filed them before we were together and then again after we were separated. So they basically had records of me already.

I am glad you have such an upbeat outlook displayed in this post, truly. My ex use to get me all pissed off and I hated getting that way, it would drag my into more of a depressed state which also hurt my research (work). This past year and a half (time since I left her) and since I have retired I am much happier and rarely get upset. I do occasionally vent which is much healthier.

Thus, vent away please. We are your buddays and will be here to read your ventings.

I met Alec's mom when he was 1 1/2. When we married less than a year later (stupid, I know), I adopted him. He's never met his real father.

I actually don't like it.
