Hopefully he will keep most of his toys there from now on.

My Saturday night drunk talk had me out water skiing at 8:30 Sunday morning. We were the only ones on the lake, but what do expect. The air temp was 59 degrees and the water was probably upper 60's low 70's. Atleast it was calm and the sun was shining so it was really perfect for skiing.

i dont know about scare tactics but a quick google search confirmed what he said:

The appearance of sparkles in your vision due to changes in posture can be due to changes in the vitreous gel in the eye. The vitreous is a clear gel in the center of the eye which undergoes physical changes as we age. This includes liquifaction and changes in the protien content of the gel. As a result the vitreous becomes more mobile. This makes the vitreous 'rub' and 'pull' on the retina producing a sensation of sparkles or flashes of light...

Occasionally, the 'pull' of the vitreous on the retina can produce retinal tears which can lead to a retinal detachment.

If there are any retinal tears, they can be 'sealed' by laser treatment to prevent retinal detachment.

If your retina has no tears, your ophthalmologist will tell you when to schedule your next visit. In any case, regular eye & retina exam is essential in your case whether you are symptomatic or not.

today is audit day... again...

the front desk personnel didnt show up today so i decided to cover at the front desk. people were ringing to get in and no one was there to open the door for them. the person who is supposed to be there is supposed to get in at 8am. i came in at 845a. i asked my supervisor if i could cover since we were expecting the nurse auditors and didnt want them outside and getting annoyed before they checked our records.

now i had been sitting there for at least 45 mins waiting for the appropriate person to show up to work. i had asked the head of security who was supposed to be at the front today. he said "which ever one of us is in this line", points to a row of desks, and walked away. im not sure what that was supposed to mean.

luckily i decided to cover beacuse the nurse auditors showed up during my covering time.

and of course, because im not where im supposed to be, the assistant director of the ENTIRE organization decides to drop by for a surprise visit. im sitting there at the front desk and she smiles and waves at me and walks away. i had worked with this woman when she was at a lower position in the agency so she knows that i wasnt supposed to be there. she smiled and waved at me and walked away. the head of security comes about 5 mins later and relieves me.
