You know, this time last week, I would've said no. I even posted elsewhere about how Un-Sexy they were.
But, between then and now, I developed a little crush on Nastia Liukin. I think a lot of it has to do with the gold medal, but fuck it.
I'm voting yes, but that doesn't mean it's not slightly perverted.

Today's Olympic competitors MUST be AT LEAST 16.

The flap over China's gymnasts has to do with several state-media stories that have reported a couple of their team's members' ages as ... 13 or 14. The IOC is investigating it.

The IOC accepts a passport as proof of age. That presupposes a LOT of things about how a country issues its passports.

The Chinese team's passports all say they're at least 16. HOWEVER, if I read the AP story correctly, this year one of them apparently competed in a City Games event where participants can't be over 14.

I smell a rat, especially with the other cover-ups that happened in relation to the Games.

The only drawback I can see from refusing to acknowledge a passport as an acceptable proof of age is the way it may exclude athletes from countries with poor vital statistics records. We are about to enter a new world of shit if the IOC investigation turns up what I think it will.

if you look at most of them they are very muscular and flat chested and look like 12 year olds (which could be a turn on for some creeps, I am sure)

Shannon Miller was part of the 1992 (Barcelona) and 1996 (Atlanta) US Women's Gymnastics teams.

According to the glurgey commentary from the Barcelona games, her dad used to use her gymnastics routines to illustrate principles of physics to his classes.
