What kind of online video can't you watch?

I've found that there's little I can't watch on the internet. It's so detached from the actual reality of what's going on that you feel safe most of the time. I mean don't get me wrong, there's hundreds of videos I wish I could "unsee" but after awhile you just start watching anything and everything.

There are lots of videos I wouldn't watch, such as scat porn, Cock and Ball torture, beastiality and religious sermons. But the only thing I've found I CAN'T watch are these horrible videos people put out sometimes where they torture animals.

I remember seeing a video where someone hit a dog in the face with a brick and it just squealed and yelped in pain underneath a bike rack for the entire video. It was hurt but it was OK enough to stay away from the fucking piece of garbage trying to get it. It was awful and is probably the top video I wish I could unsee.

What made me think of this topic is a video I just saw today where someone threw a puppy with a broken leg into a pit with alligators. I just shut it off, it wasn't gonna be pretty.

Anyone else have that one thing they just can't watch?

I can't watch animals being hurt, people hurting themselves, or people injecting themselves with drugs (I can watch someone inject themselves with insulin, but not heroin).

Insane cruelty is not my cup of tea either. I just wonder how much of the stuff i do see on the internet was out there in the world before youtube came along. Or if this sudden upsurge in crap is only because there is a medium for it?

Remember the Faces of Death videos? Those have been around a long time. I saw those when I was way young. And I remember some of my crazier friends in HS had videos of beheadings, people being drawn and quartered etc. with death metal played over them. I guess they are just easier to come across on the net, so you see/hear about them more.

Basically anything involving blood or shit. I don't mind broken bones so much because its generally someone being a fuckin' idiot and not the result of cruelty. I was unfortunate enough to catch one of the beheadings on Mexican TV here and it was the first time I had a nightmare since I was probably 4.

god, i didn't even think of that! i was once flipping around on the tv and came across a show where they had a close-up of an eyeball with a doctor sticking needles into it. i flipped to a different channel, but the mental damage was already done. my eyes hurt just thinking about it.

I do not search out these videos. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's cool to watch them. I find them on different video sites around the web like Nothing Toxic and Extreme Fuse. There is a weird mix of porn, death and fight videos on the sites. Also O&A mention videos sometimes and you'll find other videos with the video they talk about.

I mean I go there myself but as I'm looking at the new updates my morbid curiosity takes over and I end up checking out at least part of the video.

Animal or child abuse are too hard for me to watch. I've only seen two beheading videos. I barely made it through the first one. I called it quits on the second one, because he was a local Quaker guy, and it hit home too much. I've never been able to stomach any of the gross types of porn or shit/pee stuff.

Anything involving real blood or animal cruelty. Shit videos are gross, but I can handle them. I saw a video a few years ago on rotten.com of pigs being bound and burned with blow torches, and it messed me up for days.

I watched the Nick Berg beheading video, one was enough for me.

One thing I know I could never watch in any video form is childhood videos of myself doing schools plays and whatnot. The shame I would feel watching myself in 4th grade performing the Nutcracker in music class (I know that some parent somewhere has it on tape) would not leave me for decades I'm sure.

No way could I ever watch a video of animal torture or abuse. I read about it in the paper and visualize it for days! I avoid anything like that. Also any person getting beat up, tortured or killed that is real. Makes my blood run cold to see that.
But I can go to rotten.com and look at already dead bodies and they don't bother me--unless it is a child. I saw one on there of a kid with his lower jaw removed (story was drug dealers did it while his mom was watching!) and that is still burned in my mind. Horrible.
