I believe that Pixie was calling out overyoo on the inherent racism implied in his posting. I can tell you in complete honesty that there is absolutely nothing racist intended by my post.

I'm a commercial artist and designer. That's how I make my living. I think visually. I'm 100% serious when I say that the first time I saw Michelle Obama - her features, her sometimes stern expression - they reminded me of imagery I'd seen somewhere.

The entire 'Separated at Birth' concept specifically dates back to at least the 1980's - where I first discovered it in the pages of Spy Magazine; long since defunct. (They released at least two paperback compilations of these photo comparisons - I urge everyone to seek them out; they're brilliantly funny, if now somewhat dated). Here's one of my favorites that they ran - Bette Davis and The Mean Apple Tree from The Wizard of Oz.
