Of course you're going to feel a little guilty but that's OK. Why do you think they give out "Personal Days"?

I havent had a day off in three years because of the guilt of calling in.
Don't end up like me young man.

I wish I could do that but we're short handed because some cunt is faking an injury.
I have Friday off though for my cousins wedding, so that's something.

If you're a surgeon and you had patients that are now dead cause you didn't perform the surgeries they were supposed to have today then I think you should feel a little guilt. Say 3 hail mary's and an our father.

Go hit the golf course and pop a beer open for lunch. You wont regret it so much.

I'm with Brian1973. If you are a lighthouse operator, fireman, lifeguard, paramedic etc. and nobody's covering you, do us a favor and go in late today.
Otherwise, party Ferris Bueller style so you get lots of mileage out of today.

I have no problem with lighthouse operators taking off during the daytime.
