Actually I have seen her as a straw in a Jack & Coke. Not really necessary but sometimes it comes in handy if the mix is off and you need to stir things a bit.

And of course it's OK and expected for people who were on the show to come back for a visit; it happens all the time. But it is a hell of a lot better if there is a little time and distance involved. As somebody in the listening thread said very appropriately "we can't miss you if you don't go away."
