Are the shows all the same in the different venues?? Let's say I went to the Medieval Times in Florida, Maryland or California. Is it the same show as the one in NJ???

there are a few different shows that they re-vamp and rotate at different times.
so not every venue will always have the same show at the same time. but it's possible...

i used to work there as a bartender (bar wench) ... a lot of the seasoned guys would travel from castle to castle to teach the newer casts the new shows.

it's a silly fun time... i have even thought about going back for laughs. maybe next birthday or something. Enjoy! and no utensils... only Witches eat with utensils!!

my family went to Disney when i was somewhere between 9-11 years old and this is the thing i remember most. it was such a good time. though the other thing i really remember was throwing up on the Epcot elevator.

I've been there a grand total of 4 times, and each time it gets a little bit more depressing than the last.

But their vegetarian meals are a big scary mushroom filled with beans and hummus.

Should i risk it or not even bother? (depending on quality of food)

if the shroom scares you, ask them to give you the potatoes from the meat meal or extra veggies or garlic bread (as Casey suggested) instead. the kitchen is full service so they can definitely substitute other non-meat items for the mushroom thingy. as long as you ask in advance, it's not an issue for the FB staff to do.

The hummus comes with pita chips... that actually sounds kind of tasty. It's definitely a more refined Veggie meal than they had when I worked there.

I got home a little while ago and am glad to say that i had a good time.

There were only two real downsides, those being that i got seated next to a very full figured woman, which was slightly uncomfortable because of the seating plan. The other being that i really should have gone with the vegetarian option, i didn't think that the regular meal would be bad but i could barely stomach to eat the chicken leg.

My boyfriend paid for drinks and to get me a widow's peak headdress thingy and said he spent $40 total. Without the headdress thing a margarita and 2 regular beers(with souvenir cups) were $26 or thereabouts.

Place didn't smell, only distinctly when entering the arena area and leaving the venue-both times it smelt like royal egg farts.

All in all it was very fun and i'd go again. You just have to go in knowing it is what it is.

I don't see how it's a tourist trap. They have them scattered all over the US. It's basically family entertainment, if you can't lighten up and just be silly sometimes then it's not for you.

Our knight made it second to last.

I love going there. We went one time for my friend's 27th bday and we got drunk off our asses and threw down big $ on which knight was going to win. Good times!

Took my kid the last time and it wasn't as much fun, she cried when her knight didn't win. I could have cried cause I didn't have as good as a time as the last.

I haven't gone since 2001. We had about 20 peeps go when my friend went into the airforce, it was a great time! I went a couple times when I was a kid as well, I always had a great time. I've been wanting to go back for a couple years now so hopefully next year!
