It's in.

Somehow, I think that either way, the reaction to this won't be quite as drastic.

I was a bartender when the last verdict came in. I had a special on Screwdrivers. Pay for the vodka, and the OJ is free.

The news links are all saying the verdict will be read at 1AM EST. They're late!!!:furious:

I dunno, I didn't follow this case closely, but that wouldn't surprise me, really. The guys accusing him are scumbags themselves whose stories have changed a few times.

Fox says the verdict is to be read at 10 pm Vegas time. Is that West Coast Time?

Well, it's nighttime now. Kinda hard for the helicopter to follow OJ's limo to the courthouse.

I think I was in 1st grade when the original verdict came in. Then me, showing every warning sign they jump on now, started writing OJ Simpson in the name section of every silly little paper we had to do.

News Anchor: "We now go to asian reporter Tricia Takinawa who is at the courthouse. What's the situation there, Tricia?"

Tricia Takinawa:"Thank you, yes, it's pandemonium over here. After the verdict was announced, a dozen white males jumped up and started yelling 'We got him, we got him, we got that damn n****r.'

Jury has been polled, and they say the difference between the murder trial and this one is that this one had actual video of OJ commiting the crime, seen here:

We find the defendant Orenthal James Simpson, NOT GUILTY of the crime of first degree murder

That forewoman's name? Sarah Palin.

FOX news is live..I think a press confrence is going to take place soon. Its been delayed because of the "high level of emotion" in the courtroom following the verdict.

I just caught the last few minutes of their coverage. I never watch Fox News. Is it always like that? It looked like one of those parodies of news coverage that's done in movies such as Natural Born Killers. People get news from Fox? Really?

I'm not sure if it will be or not. The judge seemed to do all she could do to keep Simpson's past shenanigans out of the trial, and appeals courts hate to second-guess jury deliberations unless it's clear there was misconduct. And if the jurors keep their mouths shut, I don't see how you prove that.

I haven't really done the research to tell if this is just the early start to an urban myth or not, so I'll ask here in the hopes that someone on this board was paying more attention...is it true that the "jury of his peers" was comprised of 12 white women? I can't see how a lawyer for Simpson wouldn't have had a problem with that. If so, that's the funniest thing I've heard in weeks.

I know they were all white. I don't know about their gender. Maybe they were all acquitted murderers.

This shit is too fucking weird!

He was convicted of an armed robbery that happened on Sept. 13 and was found guilty on the 13th anniversary of his Los Angeles murder acquittal. The Las Vegas jury deliberated for 13 hours after a 13-day trial.

Gotta love those numerologists.

Gotta love those numerologists.

Whenever I go to Atlantic City and play Roulette one of the numbers that I ALWAYS play straight up is 32 - OJ's uniform number. This is something that goes back to the first trial that happened to be on tv while I was gambling. I played 32 on a whim and it came out twice within five spins. Now I play it all the time. I can't tell you how may hundreds (maybe even thousands) of dollars OJ has made me over the years.

That's always a problem in these high profile cases. These idiot jurors go on Nightline or Larry King or Oprah and tell everything. You're right, even then it's hard to overturn a jury's verdict unless the judge did something wrong or there was jury tampering.
