It was a Panasonic stereo. 6 or 7 years old. Radio, tape player, 5-disc CD changer, was also my computer speakers for the past 10 months.
Not anymore though.

if they had no involvement, you are a slob. pick your shit up.

The sneakers are my mom's. They usually spend most of their time underneath the chair there, but things got a bit scattered about.
I was actually using the tape to see how much space there was around my desk set up because I have another set of speakers, but the cords aren't long enough.
I've been wanting to destroy this fucker for a while. Today was the last straw.

so we destroy it on mom's nice hardwood floor.

Happier times.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/the86melon/Other/stereo.jpg
Basically, the left speaker had barely been working for months, and I've not been able to fix it. I decided to get more into the problem today, and I got it to work for a moment, but it worked once in 2 hours of trying to fix it. And then both speakers stopped working.
And now I've got some cleaning to do.

Ummmm the poster that's partially in the shot on the right seems a little suspect.

That picture of the stereo in tact is about 6 years old. But I do have an update. I already have a replacement.
And it's quite a bit older than the now defunct stereo. Like, as in, it doesn't play CDs. It's a radio, with a tape deck and a record player.
The most important thing in this situation, though, is that BOTH FUCKING SPEAKERS WORK! Now I can listen to things in stereo again.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/the86melon/Other/newstereoright.jpgBe careful, when that acme alarm clock goes off, the sledge hammer that pops out is gonna bust up your fish tank too..All your 8-tracks and your black light posters are gonna get soaked..

Hahahaha
It's a Sharp SG-R55. It's gotta be at least 15 years old, probably more.
And that fish rules. The flag is used as a backdrop for the tank because it's old and dirty and I wouldn't feel right just tossing it in the trash. It looks awesome.
Now I just gotta find some of the old records we have here at home, and go out and buy some classics. I got a record player now, motherfuckers.

That's exactly what I was thinking about while doing it.
I was actually taunting the stereo while I demolished it with the hammer.
