I heard that too, but they didn't sign-off, do the LOTD, or any of the normal "end of show" stuff. They seemed to be taking a normal break but never came back. That after complaining that they weren't in-the-loop RE: the happenings on their own show.

That's the problem, I don't hate the show. I originally purchased XM just so I could listen then ended up loving Ron & Fez and a lot of the other XM programming.

I'm just really frustrated that O&A has taken such a negative turn. They seem to be a lot more concerned about themselves than putting out a quality product that fans enjoy. I also have to say most of my recent frustration is pointed at Anthony because I probably like Opie and Jimmy more than I ever have.

At least some of us complain because we need to vent; we love the show and wish they were doing the kind of quality product we know they can produce. I don't like having to change the channel away so frequently. :down:

Not that many details from Opie, but it sounded like the meeting was already scheduled and it was a "coincidence" that she got fired; it wasn't something she did on R&F that pissed off the brass. Unfortunately, she was being let go and had no idea it was coming.

Again I don't know fir sure, but it sounds like more layoffs surrounding the merger. Opie mentioned that another 100 XM employees were being let go today, so there is a good bet that there are at least a few from Sirius that are getting papers.

Although they seem to be getting rid of mostly XM personnel, there are at least a few taht will be staying; they have to get rid of the redundancy somewhere.
