My in-laws said, in no uncertain terms, that they would not vote for someone other than a white person. I doubt they are the only people in the US that hold these sentiments. Reminds me of something I read in the book "The Miracle of Mindfulness." It talks about a man who saw time with his kids as time that subtracted from his "me time." And he knew it was negatively affecting his life and his relationship with his kid.

The monk who wrote the book suggested looking at that time as "me time." So redefine what you mean by "me time" and you'll appreciate the time with your kids more, and not resent them.

It certainly helped me a lot in my relationships with my wife and kids.
