So I've been like this my whole life. I'm not a scheming gossip or anything, but I am pretty nosy.

I was just in the bathroom at work and some girl came in on her cell phone crying and was about to tell a story when she noticed I was in there so she went out to the hall. I was pissed! I wanted to hear what happened! But for no good reason, just because. I don't even know who it was and it's not like I'm gonna spread it around.

It's weird. I love people watching in public or listening to other people's conversations. When I see a group of people that don't "go" together, I always try to imagine how they know each other. Yeah, I'm a little odd.

If you were pissed at not hearing the conversation because you wanted to spread the gossip, I'd say you were odd and that is a foul thing to do. But if you just like observing people and imagining how people are connected to each other, than I would call you a Sociologist. I enjoy people watching also, no harm in it.

I personally want to hear every bit of everyone's else's dirty laundry at public places including the bathroom. It's good material for writing later on. Friend of mine makes it a habit to bring a pen so he can write down what he hears on cocktail napkins. Some errant shit being said at a bar can make a great prompt for a writing up a conversation between two characters.

Also, my own life is way too boring if I had nobody else's to compare it to.
