Try to take some comfort in the fact that there are many people who love you and depend on you besides your parents, and you must enjoy them and be thankful for them during the holidays. I know, easier said than done, but it's true.

Thank you thank you thank you! It took me a while to respond to all of you, cuz I'd get (and still do) get teary-eyed when I read all of your wonderful, heart-felt sentiments!

Even after all this time (12 years since my dad died, 25 for my mom), the holidays still make me feel like a sort of "orphan." You guys have really become a family to me. You really are an extraordinay bunch of people! Thanks for all the love and support you've shown me (and Thunderlips) the past several months!
