One year for lent (when I was in grad school) I decided to go to daily mass. I was the youngest person there by about 50 years. After about the first week, the priest asked me to see him after mass when he was giving communion.

When I went up to talk to him he asked me if everything was alright because he never sees young people at daily mass. I told him I was doing it for lent and he was a bit surprised.

Oh, and CougarJake, joining involves lots of Nutella and Haribo gummy bears.

Oh i know. There are hardly ever any young people at morning mass. Sometimes during lent some young people will show up ,but its mostly old retired people who have nothing to do . I like morning mass because its short and peacefull, plus the priest usually has time to take my confession afterwards and i dont have to wait in a long line.
