When we're basking in the joy and fellowship of our families and loved ones, exchanging gifts, celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and holding our annual secret meetings plotting the destruction of your heathen hordes - what are you guys up to?

This is a serious question because I really don't know what there is to do. I don't think that I've ever spent a Christmas anywhere other than my house or someone else's house. Isn't everything closed? Is is just going to the movies and Chinese restaurants like I hear? Just what are you guys doing when I'm getting sick on egg nog and jelly cookies? Inquiring minds want to know.

I celebrate Christmas with my family and then go get drunk on Scorpion Bowls.

Pretty much the same thing as Thanksgiving.

That might be one of the 10 funniest posts ever!

Well, I am a non Christian and I celebrate Christmas as a reason to get together with family and enjoy being with each other. I do have friends that do the Chinese food and movie thing and they always say that I am missing out on something.

The biggest fear in my life is that non-christians are the ones holding secret meetings on christmas day. The know we're stuffing our faces, and getting drunk, just as Jesus intented us to do on his birthday, and they are plotting to get us.
We have a good thing going and they don't like it.

There are no fewer than 3 record stores that are open in Portland on Xmas. I usually try to bring one of them the gift of booze so the poor working saps can be even drunker while sitting around cursing the boss, stealing and being mean to customers.

Usually it's just an excuse for my family to get together and argue with one another. We don't do the church thing anymore and haven't since '94 and my family is catholic. We usually try to have a casual xmas.

Since the Christians stole the winter solstice holiday to convert Pagans, I do what most Pagans do... Continue our old traditions but on the actual winter solstice. On Christmas day, I go see my kid because he isn't old enough to understand that Christmas is a sham.

since we get off for christmas but not hanukkah, we celebrate hanukah on christmas, no matter when it falls.

So much for jews ruling the world. we cant even celebrate a holiday without you god-traitors fucking it up

all my jewish friends and co-workers tell me hanukkah isn't considered a big holiday, its just being marketed that way to compete with Christmas

For myself; I love my family but will spend as little time at each house a possible. Usually I end up sitting alone outside smoking a cig and drinking beer while they stuff themselves, play x-mas music, and these x-mas gift giving games they developed.

As an atheist I celebrate it with my family, the difference is they celebrate it as Christian Christmas, whereas I just celebrate it as the secular American holiday it has grown into for a lot of people. It's mostly about being with family I guess.

I hate going to my relatives on X-Mas. No one talks to me other then saying Hi when I get there. So I'm always ending up going downstairs to watch TV. Of course, someone always gets me a lame gift. Last year, a cousin got me a digital picture keychain. Wtf?. I prefer money, since I rather just buy something on my own and have extra spending cash. Also, half the food is always cold. Bah Humbug indeed.
