Due to some bad combination of food I guess. The sweats, the shakes, the whole awful experience.

But I still made it to work today.

That's called dedication. You can thank me later.

I claim dedication. The responsible thing probably would have been to go to the doctors but after a few hours of puke free bliss I felt I could carry on.

as a healthcare professional, you should know more than most that people who come in to work sick do more harm than good. you're not going to be as productive, and you spread your germs to others.
I called out sick yesterday, but should have on Monday also. I am doing better today but still congested and coughing.

Im also self employed so set the bar high as to what sick is. No work no money
The funny thing is that since I spend everyday working on young peope I get a constant low dose exposure to viruses and such. I swear Ive built up an immunity. I rarely if ever get sick

what germs? people are crazy. If it's something he ate, wouldn't you have to eat what he puked in order to 'catch' anything from him.

I make sure I use every sick day I have. The more time I can spend enjoying life the better.

I work to live, not live to work.
