Has anyone been here recently?

I am going there in a week and was wondering if there are any clubs/bars worth going to. For the last several years, I have been going to the Borgata. Is there anything like Mixx or murmur at the Tropicana?

Thanks!

The Quarter at the Trop has 10 or so bars and clubs. Red Square, Cuba Libre, etc., they'll all be right your your alley. Enjoy.

Qft, but the wait staff in that Poker room won't look like the Borgata Babes. Make sure you tip the old broad right up front and order 2 drinks at once. Tell her to keep em coming because super slow.

Any of them stick out for bottle service?

Or am I better off just coming and going with the different bars?

Red Square had good bottle service. I had a little roped off section right next to the bar so it was convenient. I'm not a dancer but good DJ and floor but it doesn't open up til late. Nice chicks too.

I totally disagree.

Trop has a decent room but the play isn't that good. The Taj is far superior and much bigger, tons of TV's, quick waitresses. Borgata is probably the best all around because its on the best property and serves bottles and has hot waitresses.

I am not a dancer either. Going to be with some friends. Some drinks, some blow, some gambling. We do it every year, usually at the Borgata. However, we are trying somewhere new this year.

Tough economy, shittier casino.

the Quarter has made the Trop the 2nd best Casino in A.C, the Casino part that hasn't been refurbished is crappy as hell

still not the Borgota

Hippos is exactly right. Borgata still the best property (until the new MGM properties open) but the Quarter at the Trop might be the best single area. A bunch of bars and restaurants. Still don't love the casino floor but the Quarter is the place to hang out and get fucked up.

My aunt has worked there for the past 10 years so i go quite often. I love it there, after they put up their new tower the place is really pretty cool. i dont know the names of all the places there but i know theres tons of fun shit to do. usually i stay for free so i have no idea what room rates are, but you'll have a good time.

Rooms were very cheap, especially compared to the Borgata. My buddy plays there frequently, so the rate was around $90. Compared to the Borgata at $399 for a Classic Room.

More money to gamble with!
