CVS or Walgreens are usually open on the holidays. They have a small food section. Some even have a freezer section.

There is this spanish type supermarket that is open on Christmas in Copague or Lindenhurst. I went there a few Christmas's ago. They have a nice selection of stuff. Its south of the train station.
