These spandex wearing half a fag cocksuckers have bike paths built specifically for them which stretch through entire counties, yet where do they decide to ride? On highways, main roads, and streets that are barely wide enough for two cars going opposite directions.

It's really cute when they ride abreast of one another, holding up traffic for half a mile.

Fuck you, you fruity fucks.

I don't like their arrogant hand signals as if they are part of the traffic pattern. Car beats bike every day of the week.

A certain scene in Natural Born Killers comes to mind.

This thread has me belly laughing.

I happen to think their little uniforms are cute, especially when they're yellow in color. Nothing looks more masculine than yellow spandex.

they have not fucking respect for traffic law
they want to share the road and then when they feel like they become pedestrians and just run red lights

fuck you ass hole
i hope that shit cuts off circulation and you all have your balls fall off or get testicle cancer

I'm sure when you two go biking you make sure you wear yellow socks to go with those banana spandy suits :devil2:

Some friends of mine from high school liked to ride in cars, wear paper bags over their heads, and do the Colossus (those who have played the old X-men arcade game from the 80's or 90's know what I'm talking about) to any and all cyclists they passed by.

living in nyc, i hate all people that ride bikes. they're always in the way of either pedestrians or traffic. i suppose it's ok if they want to ride their toys in a park.
i truly don't understand the lazy/dumb motherfuckers who take their bike on the subway with them.

exactly!!! they try to act like they should be treated equally to cars, yet they never follow the same rules!

anyone who goes all-out and wears the spandex outfit is just a douche. i saw a guy the other day (in midtown manhattan, mind you) wearing a helmet like the one's they wear in olympic racing:

as a side note, anyone ever notice that chinese food delivery guys all have plastic bags on the seats of their bikes? strange.

I like the guys who ride recumbent bikes with the plastic covering the entire thing except their head. When I drive past them I might as well be driving past a UFO for all the gawking I do.

let's not forget about pedicabs:

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c395/Devo37/pedicablarge.jpg

not to mention the lazy morons who pay to ride in one of them. those stupid things go slower than walking speed, for godsakes! and they take up a full lane of traffic!!

New York City's bike network grew like kudzu in 2008 as DOT's hardworking team of bikeaucrats worked to surpass their 2006 mandate to produce 200 miles of new bike lanes in three years. There were so many outstanding bike projects in 2008 it's hard to single out just one. And, really, singling out one bike project is almost besides the point. Commuter cycling jumped an unprecedented 35% last year not because of any one new bike lane but because New Yorkers can now see a complete network of bike lanes filling out and taking shape on the streets around them.

Still, one project stands out as the year's most significant advance: The Grand Street bike lane. Grand Street now offers Manhattan's first crosstown protected bike path. It's a design that can be replicated on many New York City streets. And it's the kind of infrastructure that can make New York City a safe and comfortable place for pretty much anyone to ride a bike.

The Grand St. bike lane is terrible. the bike lane is on the right side of the street right against the sidewalk, with the parking lane to the left, meaning cars park what appears to be in the middle of the street.

the driving lane is so narrow that if a car tries to parallel-park on the right side of the street, it brings traffic to an absolute halt. i've never even seen a bike on that stupid lane! they just ride in the middle of the street, further disrupting traffic. that thing is just one of the many ridiculous anti-car ideas of the Bloomberg administration (another being putting picnic tables in the middle of Broadway, reducing the number of lanes to 2, with 1 being reserved for buses).

can we please get rid of Bloomberg?!? the term limit law that he stiff-armed the city council into overturning is the final straw for me...

:furious:
