Has there ever been a movie that worked in 3D...?
It's probably due to the fact that you need special equipment to watch the movie.
Also they go overboard trying to have things jump out at you...
One of the worst examples I can think of is Jaws III in 3D...

-Perhaps in the future they will have 3D movies that don't require
Paper framed Red/Green "glasses" to view the movie...

I took my kid to that Hannah Montana 3-D concert movie. Um, the 3-D effect is actually pretty good now.

When I was a kid I saw a double-feature in 3D: Creature From the Black Lagoon and a Three Stooges movie. It worked pretty good, especially in the Three Stooges movie when they got in a pie fight.

I took my daughter to see Meet the Robinsons in 3D last year. It was actually pretty impressive. And they gave you plastic wayfarer type glasses rather than the paper ones.

The scenes in superman that showed at imax theatres were pretty cool, probably the only reason to see the movie.

And their are no red/green glasses involved with 3D any longer.

When was the last time you went to a 3-d movie in an actuall movie theatre? They give you what looks like sunglasses now. No more blue red glasses.

Yea but thet are hard plastic & even fit over my glasses real comfy. Not like the old days of the channel 11 3-d movies. Where you had to go to your local Mikey D's to get yourself a pair.

They gave these out at Beowulf, and I didn't have a problem with them.
It wasn't very good, but at least the glasses were comfortable.
