Occupy yourself

When you are somewhere you do not really want to be, like a relatives house for your significant other, or a friends friends house. How do you occupy yourself until you extricate yourself from the premises?
Often I will go to the bathroom, or find a quiet corner and play with my phone. Or I will find a magazine and thumb though it. What do you do? The place could also be a doctors waiting room, or anyplace you would not chose to be.

I have also gone out to my car and hung out. But more often than not I get in these situations not by choice and when someone else is driving.

Damn, that's what I do. That or pick on the kids that are in their late teens. They are such easy targets at that age with their attitudes.
