So the asshat I work with forces me to listen to the Z Morning Zoo phone tap at 9:20 every day. Aside from the true awfulness of this bit, I thought it couldn't be done at all anymore because of FCC and recording people without their knowledge. So, that being said, how do they have a new phone tap every day?

from what I heard they would have to inform the person before it is recorded which makes all phone pranks impossible and fake if played at all.

Tom, why don't you "prank" the dude by playing R&F or O&A at 9:20

they tapped their own phone. that is legal in both NY and NJ. then they just get the prankee's permission to air it and the hilarity ensues.
