I use my nail to pull staples

I freaked someone out at work by being able to pull out staples from paperwork with my fingernail. They could not believe that someone would do it instead of using a staple remover.
Would it bother you if you saw someone do this with their nail?
They freaked as if I dragged my nails across a blackboard (which doesn't bother me either).

An invitation to disaster if you use a fingernail.
However, if you work a 6 or 8 penny nail under that staple and use that kind of nail, it would be fine. I do it all the time on the jobsite.
I usually use my bull-nosed pliars....

Push-pins work better than pen caps if your nails are too weak or short to pull up the folded-under tabs.

The only time I'll use a staple remover is if the staple is stuck into a wall or a bulletin board.

I use a giant machete and then stab the person next to me to express my displeasure with staples in general.

I used to do that in school. Not stab people with machetes but the fingernail staple thing. Doesn't tear up the paper like the staple removers do.
