I know I've mentioned here and there over the past few weeks that Lavi (my wife) and I were homeless (i.e. living with my parents), but we just bought a house.
We close next friday, but we wont really be fully moved in until superbowl sundee.
Our POD will be dropped off in our driveway on sat. The day we close, we will assault the house with an army of painters. Luckily, this house fell into our laps, and there is nothing major that needs to be done at all. All small cosmetic stuff.
We'll be living out of boxes for that week or so while we figure out what goes where... but holy crap. We have a house.
It's awesome. And for as awkward as the past 2 months have been (living back home), I feel so relaxed and so good.
And we'll actually be able to sleep with the windows OPEN, something we haven't been able to do. (Our previous place was a first floor condo, so I never wanted to sleep with the windows open due to car sounds, people talking/walking by, and air compressor units.)
Just needed to share. Oh, and with the new house come my big ass new tv.
