My dad read that video games help mind function in AARP..so he suggests I buy one.
I get an Xbox360, hook it up , and buy Gears2 and Modern Warfare. Today he asks a few questions, and I go off on my merry way...I come back..he is further into Gears than I am, Yelling at the TV, and wants to go LIVE..
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Nice... My dad's only 50, and I don't think he's ever used a mouse. He doesn't even travel out of town except for Christmas, and has worked at the same job across the street from him for 25 years.

Dad has had 3 strokes and cancer, (68) I think he likes that the buttons exercise his hand...that or killing a lot or keeping his mind active.
Mom is worried that blood and guts might trigger Post Traumatic.....

He sounds like one of those serial killers the neighbors all say was such a nice man, kept to himself.

A couple years ago before my Dad retired he started watching my brother play Zelda and trying to "help" him beat the game. A few months later, he bought all the Zelda games he could find and an N64 for that exclusive purpose. He has never, never played video games or cared about ours before and thinks Ocarina of Time is awesome and "looks incredible".

My point is, I think that most adults who have never played before don't realize how much fun and user friendly it's designed to be.

And what's your Dad's handle going to be? Help him pick something cool.
