Thinking that a few items may co-exist so they are similar and should be taught together is faulty logic. And essentially, science is based solely on the scientific method which is a provable method to figure out the mysteries of life. Those are things that either proven or being tested by the scientific method to attempt to prove them.

Religion cannot be tested or proven by scientific method. It is a currently unprovable mythology that solely exists because of a leap of faith. It is great? Sure for many people. But you can't prove or disprove religion, so it doesn't fit within the constructs of a class based on science.

The debate should not be "religion in science" class, but rather should religion be covered in a philosophical style class.

Perhaps, should a person be visiting planned parenthood, it could be to find out more about services available to new parents. You are aware that counselors there can help with seeking adoption services, WIC services, or applying for any other form of financial assistance.

OK, maybe not more Christian but they aren't mutually exclusive. The violence is structured and part of a game setting; the participants are there voluntarily and the physical contact is expected. It is a socially acceptable outlet for aggression, entertainment, and profit.

There are always exceptions - like individuals who are not wired correctly and try to maim or kill opponents. However, being an athlete in a contact sport does not negate the ability to be a Christian or follow Christian beliefs IRL or outside of the field of competition.

Those type of jokes may be attacks and that may not be.

You make jokes with your friends all the time that you wouldn't tell strangers. A joke about a friend liking butt sex may be funny , but if you said the same thing to a person who had been anally raped, that could be an attack.

You have to look at the context and see if you can discern the intent. Sometimes it's not an easy call and sometimes it's very easy. And the mods and admins have made mistakes in the past about this. That's why warnings are given rather than outright bans, or you have shorter bans versus permanent bans. And bans have been lifted for such reasons.
