Tweed is a PUREBRED (with papers!) 8 year old Tortoiseshell British Shorthair. She lived with one family as the sole animal for 7 and a half years, then needed a new home when her family had to move overseas. She temporarily stayed with us for a while, but realized she REALLY doesn't like other animals - especially our four cats. We had hoped to have found a forever home for her, but her new owner's roommate has begun to suffer from severe allergies.
She needs a new home, SOON.
Tweed has a great personality. Thanks to her temporary home, we know a lot about her true, only-(cat)-child nature. She loves to be scratched under her chin, on the sides of her jaw and ears, and even the bridge of her nose! (lightly, of course) She likes to head butt ankles when she's hungry or just for the heck of it, and she happily sleeps at the foot of her human's bed. She loves the bathtub-- if she can't be found, her human knows she's in there looking inquisitively up at the faucet. As most British Shorthairs are, Tweed is very calm, and spends most of her day sleeping... Unless there's a laser pointer or catnip nearby!
She has most, if not all supplies that will be needed for her care. She enjoys Wellness Healthy Weight dry food, and Iams Carved Filet's Salmon Fish chunks in the mornings and at night. She's also using flushable litter.
If you think you'd be a good INDOOR ONLY home for Tweed (with no other pets), please contact me ASAP.
I know I don't post here that much but I am a fan of the show, so I know that not only are Ron & Fez fans hilarious people, but they have huge hearts and wield their powers for good, not evil. I'm hoping one of you can help me out here - those of you who know me know I've got enough stress on my plate right now and really can't deal with more right now.
