Which is the larger problem in America right now? Which one should be fixed first? This is not a poll.

Goods, we need to produce more of our own goods. There are plenty of services out there.

Goods. If we started making stuff again, a lot of people would go back to work. Factories can open, etc. There is no doubt, in my mind, that the economy would be better benefited by this.

This should be a poll. :p

Goods are a problem because the tarriffs are too low and it cost 3 times as much to make shit here then it does abroad. Only our manufacturing equipment and drugs are selling enough at this point and that's all tech based. We need to free ourselves of these trade agreements, they're bad for American business, they generally help the smaller nation.

I'd have to say goods just edge out the services sector when it comes to the topic question.

As with what the posters above stated; producing more domestic goods would create jobs and stimulate the economy. But, it could also increase or exports which would benefit many areas of our economy.

Services though also provides jobs and benefits the economy in the long run. I feel though that as the production of goods increases the services sector will naturally grow.

goods. the real problem is that labor unions have priced themselves way above the cost to produce things overseas. Tarriffs won't make up the difference either. If we are to have a truly free market economy, then we shouldn't even have tarriffs on foreign-produced items. people should be free to purchase things wherever they are made, and let the unions be subject to competition. if they want to keep their jobs, they need to forget the wrong-headed "Buy American" campaigns that are supposed to appeal to patriotism, and instead participate in the more fundamental American institution of free market capitalism.
I realize that this is a gross oversimplification, but this is just a post on a radio show forum.

I'd like to have my goods serviced.

Aw, twenty dollars! I wanted a peanut!

Twenty dollars can buy many peanuts!

Explain how!

Money can be exchanged for goods and services!

Woo-hoo!
