Just had MRI and EEG done. I've always wanted these and this confirmation b/c of some past head trauma.

Science says my brain is normal.

Booyah!

(jokes are welcome)

were you concerned because of your problem solving skills in the math thread?

I bet you're really happy about your normal brain, huh?

Part of my reasoning for taking math was to strengthen my brain. There's no doubt it helped. Mentally I've never been so organized... rather, if I continue hitting those problems as much as I did over the past few months I should be better mentally organized... hey, did you just call me math stupid? :annoyed:

a booo. (my mind on the other hand... a circus :bye:)

Do they still do the thing where they flash a random strobe light just over your closed eyes? I fell asleep when I had that done back in 1988. They said NO ONE falls asleep during that!

Yes! You know!

That was pretty cool - and I was far from sleeping during it. In fact - funny (to me anyway) story... the guy doing the EEG was kind of ... stand offish African and not very talkative. He wasn't LRA or anything but you know... Africa's a hard bitch. He looked kind of annoyed that I rolled my son in with me. At one point I had to dart forward becuase the stinker was climbing out of the stroller - just reflex and w/ 22 electrodes carefully placed on my head. haha.

Anyway - my son's giving me a hard time at the point of the strobe and and starting to fuss... so I'm saying to this guy - who's MO really seems to be to treat the job like an assembly line - "hey... there's a blue lunch bag in the bottom of this stroller - you mind grabbing it and I'll pull out his cereal and pacifier and keep him settled till we get done here?" I'm feeding him cereal and playing with him while the strobes are going off and my eyes are closed and 22 electrodes are attached to my head.. he did about 5 sets of them.. faster and faster I believe. . ok... that was a long way to go... but you just reminded me of the chaos of the EEG.

haha. The guy actually coochie cooed the boy and was talking to him before we left though. He's a funny kid.

did you get brain tests too?

Have had MS since I was 14. So I've had tons of brain tests.

I'm glad you're ok though, and I'm tolerating MS pretty damn well, so three cheers all around!

Can we throw a dot net party for ecobag and myself? With drinks and cake? Ice cream cake perhaps?
