My cousin picked me up 2 bottles of Roland White Truffle Oil. I haven't used it yet, but it is ridiculously potent. Anyone else using this?

Apparently it is an aphrodesiac. Mo. :p

The Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Truffles and Bourbon looks delightful though.

That does sound good. Funny last night everytime I was in the kitchen, I'd open it and take a sniff.. I love the stuff..

I knew nothing of Truffles until I started watching japanese Iron Chef many years ago. I've had them since then, and I find them very pleasant.

Tons of recipes at Food Network: Truffle Oil Recipes at Food Network (http://www.foodnetwork.com/search/delegate.do?fnSearchString=truffle+oil&fnSearchType=site)

Starvin' now. :(

Yeah I can't get enough of them. I never had them until I went to Italy for my honeymoon. we went to this restaurant La Giostra in Florence where I ordered fettucini carbonara and the chef covered my plate in shaved white truffle..

very good on french fries... it's not really made from truffles but is a chemical.
