Some of you may have seen the NYC Twestival (http://newyork.twestival.com) come up regularly in my twitter feed (http://twitter.com/justjon), and not know what it is.
For the past few weeks, I have been helping to organize a charity event in NY to help raise money for Charity:Water (http://www.charitywater.org), an organization that raises money to build wells to get fresh water to third world countries.
On Feb 12, 2009, there are over 200 cities that will be holding events to raise money for Charity:Water. Here in NY, there is going to be a huge party at M:2 starting at 7:30pm with open bar, celebrity guests and an amazing band/dj group called Eclectic Method (http://www.eclecticmethod.net).
Those of you in NY should totally come out to party and help a good cause. If you're not in NY, check out the Twestival website (http://www.twestival.com) to see where the party is in your area.
Hope you will all consider coming out to help a great cause!
