There were three of us but my sis was way older.
She is 50
My bro is 40 and I am 35. I felt like it was just me and my bro.
I am the Eldest, my brother is 7 yrs younger.
When I was a kid, I had to eat whatever my parents made. "You eat that spinach young man".
When my brother was a kid, it was "Ok, you don't have to eat all of the peas. How about 6?"
Now that I'm a parent I can see why; as much as you try to keep all the same, with your first you try to do everything "by the book", make sure you stay on top of stuff, etc.
by the time the youngest is born, you get so tired, it is easy to slack off with the discipline.
I still love watching girls dance!!
Same here.
When I was a kid my sister would have pool parties when she was in high school. Seeing all of her friends in bikinis used to make me insane, especially if they started dancing around on the deck.

My wife is the younger of 2, but she always had the brains and common sense. Even today.
My bro in law is pretty much a loser dork.
Why did this never happen?
Apparently my sisters are trying to veto the trade. I don't know who they think they are.
fuck i gotta run to a different office :wallbash:

I'm the youngest, but the only boy (the namesake)
Me too.
Also, I have no male cousins that can pass on the name so I get to decide if i want to end it or not.
I'm leaning towards ending it.
My family hasn't really given much to society and it is probably best just to quit trying.

Fez humiliated over new shirt.
Man, you just never wanted to stick out at all or risk getting pounded down.
Grandmother used to send Izod shirts for my birthday.
Wore one and got beat for it.
So used to rip the alligators off all of them from then on.
Ron is right, it all feels like the biggest thing in the world.

I was actually doing some reading on birth order recently, it's pretty interesting. My husband is the 4th born, and everything I read described his issues: feelings of rejection, no one understands them, etc.

KnoxHarrington
02-04-2009, 10:04 AM
Yeah, my sister worked in banks for years, and she always told me that you don't get jack shit if you rob a bank relative to the risk. They constantly drop the money in vaults, so you'll probably end up with a couple grand at most. And then you'll have the FBI on your ass afterwards, not just the local cops.

Anyone who likes 12 Monkeys should check out "La Jetee", the French short film it's partially based on. It's told through narration and still photographs. It's just stunning.
