I passed Bobby Flay's Burger Joint a little while ago... I was going to drop in but I was going too fast on Route 36.
I went there a couple of months ago. I had the cuban burger, which was really good. It wasn't as good as the cuban burger that I make from his recipe, but only because it wasn't as juicy/messy as mine.

Yeah I forgot, NO ONE CAN SAY ANYTHING about Happy Typing Girl, but can say every and anything about everyone else on this show or O&A. Love the double standard.
Since she's replacing Fez, and it's her show, I guess I dont have to listen. Maybe I'll check out the people against censorship website....oh wait, that's not around anymore.

say whatever you want, but don't think that threatening to turn off the show is going to make any impact at all.
it is just logical that if you don't like something you are hearing, you should turn it off.

*SPY REPORT*
Echostar takes on a large portion of Siruis/MX's $300,000,000 debt.
That could be HUGE depending on the underlying motivations. If Echostar is buying up bank debt they could seriously be angling for a takeover if SiriusXM declares bankruptcy.
I wonder if Echostar would try to keep satellite radio going or dissolve it and use the satellites, repeaters, and the rest of the infrastructure for something else?

I see gang mentality is effect, because the Happy Typing Girl fan club / click / "too cool for the room" crew / "we-hang-out-and-we're-part-of-the-show-so-we're-better-than-you-and-our-opinion-means-more / "i dont care if you flush your XM down the toilet".
I guess I can't talk about the show (unless it's positive) on a listening thread if it's negative - although all I want is MORE FEZ and less Happy Typing Girl.

I don't know anybody on the show - I'm just a listener. I'm not part of any clique or group tied to the show in any way (other than being a member of this board). And I don't care if you like or dislike HTG or anybody else on the show, be they regulars or guests.
What is annoying is the continued argument in the listening thread. Take it to PM's or another thread. It's just common courtesy.

Noone said you couldn't state your opinion. The problem is few people on the fan site share it so your not going to garner alot of support. I don't like everything I've stated it in the past it was responded to by those who agree and those who don't.
You've stated your feeling now what do you want us to do about it?

So in your mind, "free speech" means the ability to express your view without anyone getting the chance to criticize or disagree with your view.
Guess what? That's not free speech.
If you want free speech, that means you get to say what you want, and other people get to say what they want. No one here is stopping you from saying what you want. All they are doing is expressing their disagreement with you.

I'm not referring about your disagreement with me about happy typing girl's repeated appearances on the show and increased air time.
I'm definately not debating free speech with you.
I presumed because you were a mod disagreeing with me, you had a problem and would threaten to ban me because it's sac-religious to say I want more Fez and less happy typing girl. That was my motive for bringing up free speech.
Like a gang rape, everyone piles on when anyone makes a reference to the show that's negative, because the gospel of the show is gospel.
Either way, I don't know you personally, nor do I care what you think, much like you dont care what I think.

just for the record I don't like everything that they do on the show but I don't let it bother me. I either stop paying attention until they come around to something more to my liking or I switch the channel.
And by the way, there is no guarantee of free speach on an internet message board. This is a website that is run by fans who are kind enough to let us post here. They do have rules as to what we can and can not do here. The fact that you are posting here shows that they don't have a problem with what you are saying.
As others have mentioned, it is just common courtesy to keep listening threads fairly close to the topics brought up on the day's show.

Faulty presumption. I noted my disagreement. You said that you were going to tune out and I pointed to a metaphorical door essentially saying go ahead and tune out.
I may be a moderator, but I'm also a poster. I get the right to disagree with you too.
I never threatened to ban you. You would receive an official warning. And no moderator here would ever ban somebody because they said something the mods disagree with. We ban people when they break the board rules.
Like a gang rape, everyone piles on when anyone makes a reference to the show that's negative, because the gospel of the show is gospel. .
As a wise man (okay a puerto rican lawyer) once said, nothing that happens to you on a message board is analogous to rape.
And if you can't handle when people disagree with you, you probably should stop saying disagreeable things.

Jim Morrison read poet William Blake who said "if the doors of perception are cleansed, everything would appear to man as it truly is, infinite. "He was also influenced by author Aldous Huxley who referred to the same line when he titled his book on drug experimentation The Doors of Perception. "There are things known and things unknown and in between are the doors"

because you're a mod the statement "there's the door" does sound a little threatening,

But you forget that he said he was tuning out, which I took to say, he's not going to listen to show anymore and leave.
Hence, my pointing to the "door." Either way, my later posts made it clear I was just expressing my disagreement to his point.
Moreover, his initial post about "free speech" was part of a post bitching about how "gang mentality" was in effect and that somehow that effect was infringing his free speech.
