Not really. Catwoman is not a criminal mastermind. The Joker may be a mastermind, but he's more of an anarchist/nutjob than what I think of as a "criminal mastermind."

And my point about them being known is that they are considered to be so good, and that's why people know them. Now the '60's Batman television series and Batman and Robin may have portayed them badly, but I think when you have a good writer behind them, they're not pathetic, at least compared to other villains in comic books.

Compared to Carnage?

Yes, it is, but not in a realistic fashion, at least from what I can tell from the trailer. It appears to portray the bank as sort of a organized crime syndicate as opposed to how banks may usually be.
