Hello Buddies,

First off I want to thank Stugots and Regina for putting together a great show and asking us to be part of it. And thanks to all that came out. We had a great time. It was nice to finally meet some of you in person. I was running around like crazy and wish I could've hung out longer with you guys, but there's always a next time. I'm pissed I missed some of the bands, but I was going to pass out if I didn't get something to eat.

Stugots - a great guy, very nice, reminds me of one of cousins.

Gvac - he may be mentally unstable, but a class act all the way. I'm pissed I missed his set

Rhino & Mrs. Rhino - down to earth and some of the nicest people I ever met.

Katja - I only got to say hello really quick and pawn a CD off to her, but she seemed very pleasant.

Jersey Rich - a hell of a nice guy. He didn't hold any grudges that I couldn't produce Henry Rollins, which is as classy as his beard. I'm pissed I missed his set

Mikey D - very nice guy, a great drummer

topless_mike - met him outside smoking a cigar like a gentleman. Great guy!

JustJon - very nice, but probably thinks I'm a nut because I was running around trying to move equipment and talking a mile a minute.

Tele7 - Every time I was trying to get through a door or move equipment, he would just appear and help me out. A hell of a nice guy. Also pissed I missed his set.

dukester - caught him outside when I was smoking. Very nice guy.

One Bullet Test (featuring our very own ANC and Servo) started the evening and they were absolutely amazing. With all of JerseyRich and Topless Mike's talk of who is the classiest bass player, Servo was the only one rocking a sexy hat while thumping the walls down. Hell of a nice guy, too. ANC cemented his position as my third favorite SG player ever (after Angus and Cream era Eric Clapton) and I'd definitely go see these guys again.

We're working out details and may be playing the May 8th show at the Crossroads.. stay tuned.

What a great show! Stugots and Regina really put something great together. I had a blast and it was great to hang out with my board buddays again.

Blind Man Drive and Crankcase rocked. I was waiting for someone to throw the cape over Gvac at the end of their set! All the bands were really great.

Hammer... soooo jealous you have a picture with Ms. Bianco. Maybe if I had stayed longer... but a big thanks to topless mike for the ride home! Aces, you are the man.

that is what i was thinking, which is why i said Wednesday night, but LOST is on that night too. tough for me to call. it is 6 cds, i am not sure of the time of each but they do vary, like Crankcase's CD is 37 mins long.

I suggest you pick any night you want to stream it and then make them available for download too. That way those that rather watch a show or listen to another for a while can still catch it.

From the beginning...the core was MikeyD, Gvac and Me.

We've had other members come and go, but it was always us three. I think the final version was the best, tightest and the most fun...

But I know that we all have other things that we are putting our efforts into...

MikeyD with Patti Rothberg and KISS Nation.
Kuter, Tele and myself with Blind Man Drive.
and Gvac with his Wandering Waylon and Willie Acoustic Act.

So I think that it was a great run...(Just about 7 years) and it time to move on to other things.

You all made it one of the coolest things that we've done in our lives and we thank you guys and Ron and Fez for making it so much fun.

I'm not saying it's done forever...never say never. But it's done for now.:smoke:

well you guys certainly put a nice finishing show on last Saturday but I can honestly say that I enjoyed BMD as well, if not more (especially since you did not mess up during that set :P )

I want to thank Stugots and Regina once again for putting this whole shindig together. I really had a phenomenal time.

I also want to thank tele7 for being the latest and greatest member of Crankcase. This guy's not only an out-of-this-world musician, he's a first class human being. What a blessing to have been able to get to know him and jam with him. You're aces, Tom.

For those of you that don't know Mike Kuter (our singer/keyboardist/harmonica player), he's another amazing guy. Besides being phenomenally talented, you couldn't ask to meet a nicer, more humble person. His entire family is full of equally gifted and awesome people. He's the kind of man that makes you a better human being by merely being around him.

Mikey D is one of the very first people I ever met in person from this whole weird Ron and Fez world, and we've forged a friendship that will last a lifetime. We've battled like all brothers do, but there's a bond there that won't be broken over silly nonsense. When we first formed Crankcase I had no idea it would last as long as it did and that I'd have such a good friend as a result. Mikey's obviously a world class drummer, but he's also the most sensitive and empathetic guy I've ever known. A real special person, despite the preconceived notions some may have.

Which brings me to JerseyRich, or as I call him, Ricky. No one else on the face of this planet has ever filled the role of 'the little brother I never had' more than Rich. He's not a friend; he's family. I don't have to tell any of you that have come to know him what kind of man he is, either. As good and decent a person as I've ever known. Yeah, sometimes he's a taskmaster when it comes to music and we've traded good natured barbs back and forth over our different approaches to the art form, but as I said above, brothers will squabble and break each other's balls from time to time. Even in jest, however, I'd never deny that he's an incredible bassist and as passionate about music as anyone. I know for a fact Ricky and I will be brothers until the day he dies. Of course I'll outlive him.

Like Rich said above, he, Mikey D, and I started doing this whole band thing many years ago and I don't know if any of us dreamed that it would last this long and lead to us playing so many incredible gigs, both with the Ron and Fez show and on our own.

I'm truly humbled and blessed to have come to know these men and play along side them.

ANC- I just want to tell ya again that my son also enjoys your cd a lot. Since it's been in my cd player in the car and I don't always plug in the xm unit when I drive with him it has been playing a few times and last night he got quite upset when the cd player started skipping... he yelled at me to not turn of the music.... so you guys have one more fan :)
