Oh In away its probably good that he held back...they need to discuss this shit off the air with each other and with a mediator too. Cause there's a lot under the surface and they both been angry with each other.
also if he didn't hold back they probably wouldnt be back in studio ever....would have been way to raw.

I can understand their frustration. A project they were working on (FM Side) for months/years just completely failed. I don't blame them for blowing up at each other.

I don't think it was a bit, but I think that they brought up shit about each other just to get under the other one's skin, like Op bringing up Paltalk or Ant with the line about spinning records. I don't think these are real points of contention, just easy shots to take at one another.

Thats my point, both would suffer but op would be just a basic DJ which they dont even have anymore, ant would have to be a right wing talk show host with some comedy. From a opie standpoint it just seems crazier, I think ant could hook up with another radio show if it was pressed, the best opie could hope for would be a PD, he steers the radio but on air hes just not that entertaining. I do agree though that without op the show seems to be sluggish.

I can see how Opie would feel frustrated and dejected over everything that happened and I think they should have been able to take a few days off and collect themselves before they addressed Howard, and CBS and in a lot of ways the each other.
I think back to the day that Opie needed to vent about Chauncie ( sp) the sex tape, and how Anthony wanted to down play it and make it light, I really think he was out of line. Opie has stood by Anthony and let him ramble and ramble and vent and scream about his divorce and alimony for YEARS. So I am wondering if that could have been the start of all the bad feelings.
After that day there seemed to be a rift between the two. Who knows. I do think that Opie takes his job seriously. I also think that he did a lot of stuff for the show when they first started so having Anthony alluding that he does more then Opie just seems petty, and highlights the fact that Anthony has seriously forgotten where he started and has forgotten that without Opie he would still be a tin knocking guy.

Fallon seems kind of funny, is his show doing ok because he made a horrendous choice of deniro for first guest, I missed some of the interview did they bust him on it?
