A super-group is a band made of a different members who became famous with other bands or for a solo career, and then came together to play.
I believe that's what epo is saying.

i honestly never knew that "super group" was an actual type of band.
and i doubt dave did either... he probably just said super group as a description for how insanely successful they were.
