Despite the warnings on the opening page of this web site to "Stop using Netscape!", I can tell you first hand that this site in general, and the messageboard in particular, will work far better when viewed with Netscape rather than Internet Explorer or Opera or any other browser if you use a Mac.

Netscape 4.79 does an adequate job, but the latest 6.2.1 truly is the best. Trust me!

gvac i have to totally agree. I have been using 6.2.1 since it came out and it works beautifully with the board. The formatting with explorer sucks. I hate to endorse yet another time warner service but its better then supporting gates.

Gvac, if you want to get the attention of Mac users, you have to use pretty colors, or maybe a picture of a pony...

Netscape 6.2 is great, except it still has some bugs in it. I'm hoping they get the DHTML stuff worked out soon. I use that in a few websites I help out on and it doesn't show up in 6.2, but it does in all the 4.7x versions.

I've been using Netscape since it was put out (on UNIX for X Windows), and have become so used to I won't use IE. I do lament the purchase of NS by AOL though.

Eh-hem...who's been telling you people this the whole time?? :p

Netscape 6.2 does still have it's bugs but it is waaaaaaaaaaaay better than Netscape 6. I've had a few problems with it crashing out my computer but only twice so far.....it's still better than using Internet Explorer and dealing with the formatting though, as far as the messageboard goes.

Ivy, have you tried 6.2.1 yet? It appears to have fixed a majority of the bugs from 6.2, and hasn't crashed me once since I've been using it. I highly recommend it.

I have a Mac and it STINKS! The only reason why I have it is because my entire college only uses Mac, so I have no other choice. I can't wait because in 2 years I will finally get rid of this of crap.

that probably cuz ur using MacOS 8 or 9... I STRONGLY urge you to upgrade to 10.1...
after that, ur opinions on macs will probably change... just ask carter ;)
