so i havent updated you all on my horrific dating life in a while because frankly it hasnt been that horrific as of late...

until sunday night... seems my new chick decided that was a good night to get black out drunk and throw a beer mug at me.GOOD TIMES!

she had been trying to prod me into an argument all day for some reason and i was not going for it. so i did what any reasonable person would do... i had a friend over to drink whisky and watch movies.

i discovered that she had been sneaking shots of whisky, and she is not allowed to drink cuz she cant handle it. so fast forward to about 1130 pm and my phone rings and its a girl i have been friends with since highschool. she sent me a picture of bert and ernie smoking a bong. my chick decides its my ex trying to get me back and blows up. i tried to ignore her and she wound up and threw my big glass beer stein full throttle at my head.

i was busted open like a mid seventies ric flair cage match. a light scuffle breaks out while im trying to wash the blood from my eyes and my friend pulls her off me and tries to get her to chill. he then calls the cops cuz shes goin nuts. the cops come and, long story short, drag her away. she ended up assaulting the cops outside and got herself beat with a big bossman style night stick and maced. and off to the local jail.

i was left to take care of her daughter all day, didnt go to work, never went to the hospital, and helping coordinate with her mother to bail her out a take back to her parents.

when she got out her mother brought her to my place, we talked and i told her it was over. that i cant live like that and that her behaviour was unacceptable. she starts cryin the blues and i said nope! ya gotta go. i didnt weaken one bit.

so i guess im just posting cuz i wanted to vent, and maybe some reassurance that i handled it the right way. and id like to stress that throughout the entire ordeal i did not hit her, slap her, or be rough or violent at all. and the cops said i was a saint for controlling myself like that.

soap up the spot.

pour a small amt of peroxide. (it should bubble immediately)

scrub and scrub

blot it out or use a wet/dry vac

OxyClean works wonders and pretty much does the same thing as the soap & peroxide Misteriosa suggested. Just a warning that peroxide may bleach it or make the color run, so if you have anything other than a light-colored carpet, test a small area first. OxyClean has a better track record for colorfastness.

If the blood were still fresh, I'd suggest pouring salt on it to sop it up before it soaked into the carpet, but you're too late for that Hint from Heloise.
